Having recently had some time to trawl through some of my unprocessed work from the summer, I stumbled across this shot which I took when myself and some other members went across to Skomer earlier in the year. I'm sure all the members who came with me have got very similar shots, but I quite like the composition of this particular image, where the viewpoint is lower than the birds and how it captures the greyness of all the rock in the background.
I like to think it's different than the usual Puffin shot, but I'll leave it for you all to decide?....It will probably bomb right out now I've said all this Smile ........Regards.....Ade

Great shot, beautiful birds

Yes, it is different than the "Puffin with sand eel" theme. There are shown well within their natural environment.

Good use of the beginning of the long winter nights. 3 quite different poses, with the spalshes of colour in the beaks, feet and lichen on the rocks adding to the depth of the birds in the FG against the rocks behind.
