My first Puku, antelope of Zambia and a new species for me. Attractive as Impala and as numerous, taken in gorgeous light !!
From the thumbnail I could see that wonderful light Ron.
A lovely bright image and such a beautiful creature.
What a beautiful girl she is - and attentive too !! A really great photo Ron
The light really was lovely Ron - excellent!
He has certainly seen you Ron, and more like you too¬!!
good to get your first of any creature...exciting
This is lovely and ladylike. (Even if you have to tell me that this is a male!)
and I like the way that the EXIF data shows that hte camera responded to the situation, giving f/5.6 with a lens that only opens up to f/5.7...
Very good lighting
Like the light and your timing with this Ron, a pleasing capture
A wonderfully captured moment just as the Deer turns to give you the OK to grab this beautifully illuminated image. "A real gem"
I've never heard of a Puku, but what a beauty. Are they termite mounds in the b/g?
In answer to Chris's ( Slow Song ) question, yes they are termite mounds and there were thousands of them. All different sizes to !!
Love the rim lighting and that raised hoof is so typical of animals who freeze in mid step.
Beautiful light & image Ron.
Splendid capture Ron, she looks very dainty.
She's giving you a lovely stare - super lighting.
Thank you all very much
gorgeous backlight indeed!
must admit I never heard of them.. Great to see new species here.
