Took a quick ride into the welsh hills today to take some pictures of the Heather, and though is started to rain, we managed to capture a few images of the spectacular colours on the hills. I hope you like it.

Really lovely - we had a day out in the New Forest & I just couldn't get over the purple hue of the heather - not a bird in sight though and the 400mm couldn't cope with the two horses let alone the whole scene LOL I had to move so far back to get them in & by the time that happened they lost interest & wouldn't lift their heads again - animals hey... Ina
Really enjoyed viewing those lovely Mods but in the end reckon I actually like the origin best. Given so much detail in the fore and imddle ground, it is almost necessary to have a "balnd" sky! Love the tiny sheep in the hillside and that huge boulder makes a great foreground detail. As for the heater, beautiful detail and colour. Great image all told!
