For me this small branch of back-lit Pussy Willow is one of the classic sights of Spring.

I was in two minds about cloning out the tip of the twig but decided to leave it, as it hinted at new growth to come.

Beautiful lighting! Nice composition... glad you didn't clone out the twig tip, might not have looked as natural. Lovely shot, well caught!

Anne - USM is the Canon auto-focus motor system (I think "UltraSonicMotor"?)

As Val says it looks delicate, I might have been inclined to shoot it against a different coloured background using various different coloured cards I sometimes carry around, but that's being really picky with a lovely shot Brian....

This was shot "Au Naturel" Ade, as it was, sticking out of the side of the tree against the sky, blowing in the wind, (its cheating to carry your backgrounds with you! Smile
