Was this taken somewhere quite dark?
You've certainly added some light but you'll notice a lot of detail has been lost in the feathers.
Try learning to do masks where you can lighten an image but with a mask layer, you then use the eraser to
bring back detail where you don't want to loose it.
Maybe you already know how to do this - if not ask for further help.
This looks a lovely bird.Have you still got raw file?
