No, not our present Queen in a tutu .... the Dartford River Crossing - in portrait version this time Smile.

After wandering around for a while I decided this was the best vantage point to wait out the sunset. Derek was over the hill!! TongueGrin

Iso 100, f22, 1/5 sec, tripod and remote, and a bit of garden tidying this time, Helen Wink.

Spectacular golden light (a true golden gate..!), you've almost got a sepia foreground! The light is lovely and the portrait format works better with the bridge to my eye. I think the FG is very dominant compared to the sky and the 50:50 split might have been better balanced as thirds (2/3 sky, 1/3 land) but never the less, this is really striking and beautiful and definitely worth the trip! Excellent composition, light and great verticals, i like this one alot, using the flowers as a lead in, looks as though some twigs fell out of your basket though whilst gardening. It appears pin sharp at F22 with no sign of the diffraction police i don't think Alan noticed either.
