These are the old flooded quarry workings behind Haytor Rocks. Thursday was a bright day with a cutting wind and I sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee in a sheltered spot.

Beautiful clouds and reflections. Crisp foreground grasses. The water's so clear you can see the plants under the surface even.

Know this spot very well. A great place to have a rest and contemplate life and other significant things. I think you have managed to capture this very well. Good reflection and good use of the two foreground clumps of reeds to lead you into the image.

Love the cloud reflections mingled with the reeds, illusion and reality.

I remember being in that spot many years ago. The light and reflections in this looks amazing.
