A return to the Quays. Single frame capture heavily cropped with my handy compact that rarely leaves my side.

Once again many thanks for all the C&C and constructive help over the last few months - it is appreciated.

Regards
Dave Wink

ps - looks good large too - not bad for a compact IMHO!

Like the tags - I would guess yellow and orange and gold and bronze - and maybe I am also colour blind! Good strong image lots of interest - I think I might have tried an even more ruthless crop around the two cranes though.

Good work

The central positioning of the cranes is unorthodox but gives free rein to the contours of the architecture behind and the evening reflections. Lots of copper and bronze, excellent silhouettes.
Always carry a camera - spot-on procedure!

Cranes or no cranes - why do judges not like them? They are part of the shot and I think they break up the skyline beautifully - very nice colours in the sky and reflections - great shot
