...the aptly known Ben Loyal a wonderful ridge that sits to the south of Tongue and is a magnetic turning point for migrating geese.
Like a scene from a Fairytale.

The mountain ridges lit with that dappled light sit comfortably between the darker clouds and the shadowed f/g with it's twinkling bog cotton.
A huge expanse of this northern scene captured in magical conditions for light and colour.

Poets wrote poems about this, painter painted this, musicians wrote symphony's about this, and now you have captured this beautifully.

Yes, indeed, Dougie: but of the nicer variety, not the nasty wicked witch sort Smile
Beautiful light beneath the fascinating cloud, which is almost going into competition with the mountain ridge for craggy shapes.

The clouds are dancing, the peaks are looking up to watch them.

Another fine shot Dougie.
And I have had my fill of fairytales during the last three weeks.
I saw quite a number of ''fairies'' there during the Fringe !!

You couldn't have cut and pasted in a better sky, Dougie. That is as you say a fairytale vista. No wonder this is God's country over all others.
