Taken at the war and peace show at Paddock Wood this year
a group of first world war re-enactment had dug a trench and were waiting for the germans to build theirs, time for a quick smoke before they went over the top
taken in black and white and then digitally confused.

Thank you for the image description. I could believe that the photo was real as I think you have done a good job on the processing.
However, the main reason why I like it is because of the moment you have caught, it is entirely believable to me that this could represent a situation actually during the war. I think you have captured a fleeting moment that could have happened just before they went over, a last fag.
