Isn’t it weird when really good news brings with it really annoying news?
I went to see the neuro today about the results of the MRI from last Thursday. No slipped disc, no impinged nerve root from C5/C6 vertebrae, neck totally fine. Which is the good news. Fantastic news, really. But…
…what then is the reason for my right arm’s lameness?? Bah. It’s been over 2 months and back to Square One, basically. More tests have been scheduled.
Alrighty…as you can tell, I ain’t Mr. Chirpy today but it’ll pass. Anyway, there are people out there with way worse situations than mine and they are getting on with things. I’ll sort myself out and be as right as rain in no time. Besides, despite my right arm’s limitations, I can still take care of the parents and do the laundry and household shopping and take them wherever they need to go and stuff…so that’s fine.
I didn’t feel like uploading today but had to update you about today’s appointment with the neuro.
I’ll catch up on your portfolios soon but on just the latest pic. No way I’ll be able to catch up on all the pics I’ve missed.
I’ll be back to my old self in a day or two…max.
Thanks for all the well wishes and the welcome back ![]()

Exquisite Orchid, Andrew. I have one in flower on the utility room windowsill at the moment but haven't been able to capture it with anything like this standard. Glad to learn about the plus things but hope you get an answer soon re the arm and that it can be sorted ASAP. Take care.

Composition, colour, clarity, subject, presentation, all superb. Salute yourself for this one Andrew - but maybe not with your right arm yet!
Good to see you back - but bewildering for you working out what has been happening.
Lovely capture of this beautiful flower Andrew ![]()

This is superb, and I appreciate the fact that you have it peering in from the right, facing leftwards. Less conventional, more arresting.
I know the frustration of negative results, good news but no news.
Moira
Delicately beautiful and I hope some sort of respite from your health predicament.
