I haven't got much that I want to upload at the moment, but thought I'd try this old feather I found at the beach in January. It's been given a textured layer (my own) and a bit of colour and was taken indoors in natural light. Comments and criticisms are very welcome.
I deleted yesterday's image - Cutlery drawer - because of the white spots on the background; thanks to all of you who noticed them.
This will be my last upload for a couple of weeks as we're busy this weekend and then off to the frozen north west of Scotland for a week or so.

I rather like this Ann. The wonderful textures and tones contained within both the bottle and the quill have been very well observed and digitally reproduced.

Lovely tones and texture, Ann, very harmonious. The highlights and shadow give the depth and the composition looks perfect to me, being left-handed that's exactly how I would use it so it looks very natural.

Have a wonderful break but don't forget your Arctic survival pack Tongue

I don't know how old the bottle is, I'm afraid... I should have asked when I bought it (from the guy called Andy who is on the Antiques Roadshow (he has a shop in Rye) - and before you get excited, I don't think it's worth more than 50p!! Smile
