A beautiful landscape composition, which has beauty, colour, detail and direction in abundance.

The heather is adding a new dimension to the scene, Sue: fine composition from the 'far north'.

To my eye, the colour in this light is just slightly unsatisfactory. Nothing to do with your taking or processing - just that the light is very grey.

I've tried a simple greyscale, plus booting the contrast (I know that the histogram was theoretically perfect as it was: but darkening everything can be effective for a stormy view).

It may be that you'd hate the result - but please drop me a private message and an email address if you'd like to see it.

Best wishes, and many thanks for sharing so many lovely views of the countryside!

Looks like a wonderful location Sue, and I can imagine how a 360 degree turn around must be awesome.

The perfect clarity brings out the detail and subtle colours of the plants in the foreground. A well composed scene, very well processed.

A familiar scene - nicely taken Sue. I've read dudler's comment above and I wonder whether he's been up to Assynt as I think the light is so often 'like this'.
