Racing pigeon perching on satellite TV dish.
In the original shot background tree and sky was a bit too harsh, and I've blurred the background slightly in Photoshop.
I've also uploaded the originals. You're welcome to try it out with different background.
This is a 70% crop of the original. Shot was taken last week afternoon testing the lens. The afternoon sun lighting was very bright. I'm happy with details captured after sharpened it a bit in post processing.
Any advice and critique are welcome.

Nice bokeh. The pigeon is sharp, especially around the eye where it really matters. I like the crop leaving space on one side for him to fly into. Not sure how you can improve this image, it is a lovely capture and nicely processed. I don't like v2 as the bokeh is distracting and not as lovely as v1 and on v3 I feel the crop is far too tight, the bokeh in v1 really adds to the picture. Jude
I think that Jude's pretty much summed it up.
V3 is too tight for my liking. It's far too obviously a crop, if you see what I mean.
V1 has to be the favourite. I think though, that had I been carrying out the blurring of the background, I'd have de-saturated it somewhat at the same time.
Just a thought, it's still a fine image.

Edit; I've just flashed this through the shadows/highlights tool in CS5 and uploaded a mod.
I'm not suggesting that it's an improvement, but it is slightly different.
Trust me to be odd man out. prefer the tight crop - more impact for me. Lighten the shadows a touch though. All three are good. Assume you are sure it's a racing Pigeon - cant see the leg rings. Could be a Rock Dove - but you took it and know the location.
