He wanted to ride his bike and kick the neighbour's kid football. However it rained it rained and then some. The dream for the day was over. He was not a happy little chap!

Excellent study - the hand is just right and the lighting perfect. Maybe you could darken those light patches under his chin. If I was able to vote, it would get mine

An outstanding image. The hand is a good addition.
Only one small critique. I would have darkened the thumb down slightly as it does draw your eye away from the main image slightly.
A great shot nonetheless.

I really like this. It's a good, natural pose and great use of the available light.

I think this is a great image. To me the pose is almost adult and seems to suggest the child has had to grow up fast. Excellent texture and camera work.

One of the best portraits I have seen on here for a while, one that I would be proud to have in my own portfolio. Love the composition and the toning.
Just a couple of minor points, I would darken the area of the thumb and the bright area beside it - they add nothing. The second is a little more difficult as I would like to have come a little further to the left and lose the eyelashes and eyebrow from the right eye although these could both be quite easily removed in an editing program.
