Just back from a week in Devon, but didn't do a great deal of photography down there, so here's another from my rainbow series on Saltburn beach.
At this point Phil Dove and his mate, Eric, were taking cover from the substantial downpour that was creating this rather intense rainbow. They are at the end of the fence in front of the pub, which you won't be able to see at this size, but they are clear enough in the original version at 100%. Told you I'd look it out, Phil
This was an early shot of this rainbow, as it was hard to keep the raindrops off the front filter after the first couple of shots. (even when I remembered I'd got a rainsleeve thingy in my bag).
I wish the car weren't there, but a few seconds later there was another car, as someone pulled in to admire the rainbow ![]()

That's really quite special. I'm not jealous at all, honest ![]()
Den
Thanks Den. Good to hear your thoughts. I thought you were taking a break from this place?
Thanks Mickey. I'm not sure I want to go too far with cloning tbh.

Couldn't keep myself away!
I like sharing my images and I also find the comments very helpful but am totally over the votes thing so as a compromise am uploading everything to the critique gallery ![]()
Glad you got a full one, and using it to frame the pub is nice, would look smart behind their bar I would think.
Thanks everyone.
Sounds like a plan, Den. I tend to be reluctant to comment much on critique images, as I feel I would need something particularly useful or insightful to say, but glad you'll still be around.
Steve, maybe I should go in with a big print? (you know I won't though, don't you?
)
Get it done, with your website along the bottom of the mount, make it a gift, free advertising.
We had a good night tonight, apart from the rain
An image I dream of capturing Leigh - superb persistence!
Mike
