The same morning, but another rainbow. The first shower of rain is closing fast....and in fact reached me before I got my camera away. Taken on Stanage Edge, a mile or so away from the previous image Smile

Jammy raindodger Wink

Great example of a double rainbow Martin, now explain the physics to everyone why the outer bow is always less bright and an inverse colour to the inner? Wink
Don't no why myself.
John

Is it because the second rainbow is a reflection of the first one?

That is a stunning rainbow image.
I know only too well how difficult it is to capture these unblemished.
Any day someone comes up with the equivalent on windsrceen-wipers for Lee filters I will be prepared to invest, it might be lost ot the Dragon's Den though.
