Actually Raindrops on Peony Roses: the original shot, taken in the garden yesterday after heavy showers, is V 2, but I thought a close crop with a left to right flip would make for an interesting almost abstract.

My thanks to all as ever for the comments on Triple Peony, and with special thanks to Ray {Billyray} for his User Award.

Ronnie.

Sharp on the rain drops and elsewhere as it needs to be--- these are both fine, but I like v2 for its concrete nature!

V1 makes a most interesting abstract with more rain than rose!
In V2 it is hard to believe your beautiful peony can withstand that rainfall,
yet she is holding her own and standing proud.

Great capture of the detail and colour in this Ronnie, a difficult choice in choosing , again both excellent captures and worthy of placing in there own standing. The water droplets just add more to the image. Excellent work.
