Hi all, hope you are well. Weather forcast is for heavy rain today, even though the Sun is belting through the window onto my neck as I write this ![]()
Yersterday we went to Boughton Church in the lovely Weald of Kent, hoping to find some Deer to photograph, more of that story later. When we arrived, there where more Cars in the Car Park and Country Lane, than i've ever seen there. It turned out to be a Big Wedding, but sadly for me, all the guests where already in the Church and waiting for the Bride. Ju went off to the Wall at the back of the Church to see if She could spot any Deer, while I looked around and spotted this rather wet Lady, waiting to get a glimps of the Bride. She was lurking in the bushes ( The Woman , not the Bride) and have included a shot of where I first saw Her, so you can see where these pictures where taken. She had hardly any make up on, and very damp hair, but still very photogenic I thought. Good bone structure.
Thanks very much everyone who voted and commented on my Calda House pic', but I'm sure it must be time for more portraits![]()
All the best to all,
John ![]()

Are you sure she wasn't waiting to pounce on a passing photographer? Lovely smile in V2 but the focus is a little better in V1 (where the expression is very good too).
Regards
Bill
V1 - surprised by your attention, but very self-confident;
V3 - really enjoying the moment!
Can't decide between the two, but I agree, a wonderful natural model. It's great to be able to trike up a rapport with a stranger like that.

A fine set John, you are undoubtedly epz's no1 birder!
Excellent portrait and a lucky find John. The nicely defused green background in V1 gives a kind of 3D effect and works a treat with the wet hair when viewed large. Nice tilt to the eyes with attractive catch-lights and a pretty face that does not fail to please. Smashing.
Dave.
A very beautiful lady John, and wonderful portraits. As usual you've caught that Smile.
Tony
