A crazy sky from last weeks 'Indian' summer we were experiencing. I was heading home from the Roaches and had to have a quick detour to Ramshaw Rocks once I saw the colours developing.

I don't think I've ever seen such a vibrant sky Smile

The subject, composition and colour tones are marvellous Richard but the dark rock protuding into the sky looks a bit at odds with the foreground lighter area, it kind of demonsrates your photo technique too much if you have used grads, perhaps?

There just doesn't seem any reason for them to be this dark against the light ones to occur naturally, but of course I wasn't there..

I love the strong shapes of the rocks against the colours of the sky which are vibrant, yet peaceful. The different tones and textures and the composition of the whole shot is wonderful. Tracey
