Peter,

This is (another) wonderful shot. I particularly like the icy grass/reeds. It's hard to get a different shot of this lochan but you've certainly managed it. Just goes to show that a beautiful place is still beautiful no matter how often you see it.

Congrats on the EC well deserved.

I'm always amazed at what fantastic shots people take on Rannoch - it is at times the bleakest place on earth. This is a great shot, you can feel the cold. Well done on the EC. *click*

PS had to laugh at the two adjacent shots!

Stunning shot! Out of the dozens of shots of Rannoch I've seen, this has to be one of , if not the, best. Great work. Well balanced, nice foreground, nice composition and light, great sky...

WOW !!!!! What a magnificent shot. Where is Rannoch ?? By the way, in case you're thinking, where's this dummie been all his life, I live in South Australia, and we don't get to see country like this around my neck of the woods.
Congrats on the EC too, well deserved.

One of the very best from this most photographed Lochan. The frosted reeds really provide a super FG detail. We'll be seeing scenes like this quite soon I would guess.
