These critters are so very small, and usually green, so I rarely spot them. However, the red and black caught my eye (just) so I attempted a couple of shots. Not good as he was too small, but I felt worthy of a show.
It has an almost metallic look, Carol -- very nice.
I think these are super images Carol and I love them all Thanx for showing us the beauty of the 'unseen ' dimension [ for us mature ones ]!!

Sat at work, waiting for the temp to rise - the painters can't paint the roof steel until it is above 3C - the steel, not the air temp - until the steel is painted the new roof can't be installed - bloody frustrating

looks like he had a good wash for the shoot Carol he is shining and iridescent probably helped you to spot him I would have missed for sure well captured
