My first upload from the March Rowardennan meet and one of my first shots of the day.
Absolutely awful weather and everything needed a good wipe down after this shot, but as I was turning the car round this rainbow appeared and it was too good an opportunity to miss.
Processed on my laptop, so colour may be off, will find out when I get back.
Thanks for looking.
Awesome image, colours look good from here
First one of the press I think.Lovely image and mood.
its not bad at all so well done
Blimy that was quick, just been watching you in the lounge hunting a 3g signal !!!!!!!!!!!! guess it was a fast enough connection.
Your wee lad is having a ball here running around
Great first image.
Done well to get this Neil. Ron.
Considering the conditions you've done well to get this Neil. Well composed and the rainbow adds a nice touch.
I fear greatly that this is the thin end of the wedge and EPZ shall shortly be submerged under a great deluge of Rowardennan shots though
Might be a little bright, but a great image from BRC which is still a favourite spot for me. Nice weather image and the 'bow is a wee bonus, well done.
All the very best
With the add of the rainbow makes this special.
Great image. Well captured.
Excellent Neil, Robbie and I obviously left a minute too soon.
We couldn't get the rocks in frame, we were too busy sheltering behind them as it was the only way we could stay upright!!
Good to meet you.
Ahh, so this is what you were uploading yesterday ... lovely shot mate, that rainbow is a belter, looked good on the back of the camera and even better here!!!
Great to meet you and the family too.
Beautiful, and congrats too
a cracker Jav, well deserved E.C.
well done mate, not a bad start for you Good meeting up with you and the family,
I liked this one on the back of your camera and it looks even better large
And now an EC ... spot on mate!!!
Well Done, Neil!! Agree with Rich, it looked gr8 on the back of your camera, even better here ! POTW ? I do hope so
Nice to see you again, and meet your lovely wife and son.
I've added the "official tag" too, so that everyone can find it
Wel done Neil
Nice one Javam!
Truly wonderfu work Neil
Every landscaper's portfolio should have one, and now you do Neil Classic composition.
well done Neil, nice to see you again and meet the family
Great to see you and the family Neil. Well done on the EC.
Ooooh, that's not fair - you got it with a rainbow!
But it's a great shot, Neil. Congratulations!
Nice to see you again, BTW. Looking forward again to November...
I think the phrase I am looking for is woo hoo!
Thanks for the EC Pete, to be honest I would have thought you were sick of the sight of this place by now
Thanks all for your comments and great to meet new and familiar faces over the weekend. Always a special meet even when the weather is dreadful.
Look forward to the next time. Now off to load another image of this place, sorry!
Also, I would like to thank Lizzie and Jake, for their patience with me, while i made them sit in the car for the best part of 2 days. I am not sure that scenario featured in my description of a Rowardennan meet and why she should come along!
Fortunately I think meeting you all made up for it.
Fantastic! What a scoop of a shot - and a gong to go with it too That composition is really interesting - feels as though it's divided into the shape of the saltire, the way you've positioned the main elements in the pic.
Great to see you plus Lizzie and Jake - they fitted in straight away
Well done...good to see you albeit from afar
Hope I didn't give Jake any nightmares...
This is a fine shot and that rainbow... excellent!
Thanks Suzi, Chris, Pete.
Great to see you all at the weekend, but sorry not to have spoken more.
Suzi, I would like to say I spent a long time on the composition, but the reality is this was a grab shot without filters and tripod and the composition came about out of the necessity to fit the rainbow and the cottage in frame and then I positioned the FG rocks as best I could in relation to those.
Pete, so you are the reason he screamed the place down last night at 1.30, or is it teething
Don't you just hate some people?.........they go to a location on a lovely sunny, balmy day - claim the weather is foul and walk off with an award or two......................................
Well done Neil
Amazing capture Neil, love the light and composition. A rainbow as the cherry on top of the cake.
Congratulations on the EC, most definately well deserved.
Well done for the EC, and that rainbow makes it special.

Wonderful shot, and congratulations on the EC Neil. I wish I could have been there.
Congrats again for the EC, have you descended from cloud 9 yet?
