My first upload from the March Rowardennan meet and one of my first shots of the day.
Absolutely awful weather and everything needed a good wipe down after this shot, but as I was turning the car round this rainbow appeared and it was too good an opportunity to miss.
Processed on my laptop, so colour may be off, will find out when I get back.
Thanks for looking.
Neil

First one of the press I think.Lovely image and mood.
Tom.
Might be a little bright, but a great image from BRC which is still a favourite spot for me. Nice weather image and the 'bow is a wee bonus, well done.
All the very best
Dougie
Excellent Neil, Robbie and I obviously left a minute too soon.
We couldn't get the rocks in frame, we were too busy sheltering behind them as it was the only way we could stay upright!! ![]()
Good to meet you.
Ian
well done mate, not a bad start for you
Good meeting up with you and the family,
I liked this one on the back of your camera and it looks even better large
rich
I think the phrase I am looking for is woo hoo!
Thanks for the EC Pete, to be honest I would have thought you were sick of the sight of this place by now ![]()
Thanks all for your comments and great to meet new and familiar faces over the weekend. Always a special meet even when the weather is dreadful.
Look forward to the next time. Now off to load another image of this place, sorry!
Neil
Also, I would like to thank Lizzie and Jake, for their patience with me, while i made them sit in the car for the best part of 2 days. I am not sure that scenario featured in my description of a Rowardennan meet and why she should come along!
Fortunately I think meeting you all made up for it.
Thanks again.
Neil
Fantastic! What a scoop of a shot - and a gong to go with it too
That composition is really interesting - feels as though it's divided into the shape of the saltire, the way you've positioned the main elements in the pic.
Great to see you plus Lizzie and Jake - they fitted in straight away ![]()
Thanks Suzi, Chris, Pete.
Great to see you all at the weekend, but sorry not to have spoken more.
Suzi, I would like to say I spent a long time on the composition, but the reality is this was a grab shot without filters and tripod and the composition came about out of the necessity to fit the rainbow and the cottage in frame and then I positioned the FG rocks as best I could in relation to those.
Pete, so you are the reason he screamed the place down last night at 1.30, or is it teething ![]()
Thanks again.
Neil
