thanks paul, the intension was for RED, i am still getting to grips with paintshop pro so,
I like the idea here but I agree that the red is too strong. A less bright colour or reduce the opacity a little when painting the colour would, perhaps, work a little better. If you paint the colour onto a clear layer you can erase the colour from any areas where you make a mistake (i.e., the fingers)

thanks andy, it was hard work trying to this. and my eyes were getting sore trying to see where the putlines were of the fingers...
Nice one and a very poster idea/look this Shane. If you take layered copies of the areas you want to work with, Shane, and then feather the edges you'll get a more natural look around the lip edges (like a natural bleed) and nails etc. I think the red strength is fine, nicely dramatic, but needs to be darker on the apple. You'd never find a Granny Smith etc. this brightly red.
