Thank you all so very much on your positive comments on my two last portraits - this has given me the impetus to continue with this work in my portraiture. You are all very kind.

Today I am uploading an image of a Shelduck, which is larger than a Mallard but smaller than a goose. I loved the markings and, of course, its red beak!

Hope you are all having a good weekend!

Carol

Have never managed a decent shelduck shot Carol, despite the fact that there are loads of them on the Basin. Beautiful capture here and like the texture you have used. Moira

A great presentation, Carol, but I'm not too keen on the texture appering to be showing on his beautiful chest (maybe it's his natural markings, if so, sorry). Carol

Love this one Carol - very well worked. They are lovely 'ducks' - we were watching them flying in at Slimbridge yesterday - they are really attractive & striking birds. The textures work very well with this one. Lou

Would be impossible to come up with a more apt title for this excellently manipulated shot Carol, you're doing a great job with such, for me, I have PS C3 but have only scratched the surface of its capabilities........and keep getting bombarded with offers to upgrade to C5!
Rgds., Jim
