This shot was taken after the Anzac Day dawn service gathering in Kings Park, Perth, Western Australia as it is each year on its anniversary. ANZAC stands for Australia & New Zealand Army Corps and is a very emotional day to remember the fallen soldiers that fought side by side (with other countries) against the Turks at Gallipoli on the 25th of April 1915. The isolated red in this photo represents the blood spilled. As you can see, there was very little red in the shot which has even more impact.
