Love the vivid colours in this Mavis. That chilli looks great. Nice work.
A hot pic' Mavis, I bet it will taste even hotter than it looks. I just love hot flavoured food. Might try growing them myself next year.

Thank you all for encouraging comments . Jennnnnnn not made it before . Would be great if it is as red as this pepper .
John they are SO easy to grow . This was from a free packet of seed I started off on my Windowsill , then pricked out and then put into large pots with a great dollop of composted farmyard manure in the bottom .Have 5 different sorts lined up for next Spring .
nothing better than home made stuff.. brilliant shot of the healthy looking chilli
Good luck with your jellie...my cake is in the oven as we speak, and smelling mighty good! Love the red in this, gorgeous image.(use a little red food coloring in the jelly)
Wow this is really hot stuff Maeve. Good lick with the jelly.
Beautiful contrasting colours Maeve...your close up work is worthy of serious commendation...colours and texture details are not without impact.
Superb detail and colour.
Beautiful colours and details. I've never heard of chilli jelly, but it sounds good.
I was so glad to see this -- not only because it is a very nice shot but also because I was surprised to find somebody else growing their own chilli peppers. I had no idea they would grow in Northern Ireland. -=Walter
