Nice try....

Some things I do with flowers.

Use tripod....
No need for a high iso.
Try for a plainer b/g...even if its some card.
Shutter speed too fast.....came out too dark.
Tweak comp to get bottom petal in - or loose them all around.

It can be brightened and sharpened in processing - but it gave some noise so had to use noiseware so lost some detail.
