Beautiful image excellent composition.
A bird that I have never seen, Danny: excellent shot with good plumage detail in that shadowed side presented towards you.
I dont think yhat I 've seen one either, but this is a great image
Your ID of birds is getting impressive Danny This is a fine capture.
Good timing and colours in the plumage Danny.

Most birds to me are Sparrows or Spuggies as we call them up here. Of course I had no idea what this was until someone on here ID an earlier shot.
Great shot Danny
and the way the ivy vine trails sets this up
for that perfect shot with the bird so proudly sat
Very instructive, Danny, as I've never seen one of these. I have heard of them, just about. Must have come top of the poll somewhen
Nicely captured Dan.
How pretty. It looks as if it's been splattered with paint.
Lovely natural shot and the light just catching the bird, one I have never seen.
Fabulous light on this lovely bird. Beautiful.
I used to get wronged for throwing clemmies at spuggies!
A lovely capture of a spuggy that's had an accident with a tin of red paint , you're becoming a right twitcher
Bleeding heck Danny,I have been away for months and you are still uploading BLEEDING BIRDS !!
(Your nightmare is back !! )
Great image danny lots of detail
I hardly know a blackbird from an albatross, so I will restrict myself to saying well captured, Danny. The light looks even more early morning than the time this was taken.

Malcolm 10.35 AM IS early morning.
Great capture of this male lesser redpoll Danny, good background. We seem to have lots of these around here at the moment for some reason, I have not seen them until this year.
First time I've seen one of these Dan excellent capture
When I saw the image I thought he's hurt, good that it is his normal colours.
