Went on a trip to Dorset and visited Brownsea Island twice and, after only getting a poor shot of a red squirrel the first time, I was really hoping that I could get a really good shot the second time.
Then I saw this little guy on a branch and kept on clicking!!
Thanks
Matt

Members please dont have a go at me ! I tend to look at an image for a couple of minutes, read the intro then the comments, then say what I see.
This is a very good capture, composition as it is, is quite good, the deatail and sharpness is excellent...its a shame that the light behind the squirrel tends to blend in with its tail and a little detail is lost, perhaps moving to the right a little would have helped...but there again the squirrel may have scarpered. Still good though.
Geoff.

What a lovely image! Didn't know you still had any reds down there, so double the pleasure! Great capture.
