I recognise the view from the image you posted a couple or so back, Ed: I suppose the river traffic now is centred on the boating fraternity whereas in the past there would have been a lot more commercial traffic and the buildings on the right would have been warehouses, now converted into flats by the look. A very fine shot along the Avon......the nearest I have been to here was seeing the R. Avon at Tewksbury in 1992 when we stayed nr. Burford.

At least a lot of the old warehouses have been converted rather than pulled down! I bet those flats have wonderful views...
