I really like this! Sometimes special effects are used just for their own sake, but here it suits the subject & its shape, and has added to the impact of the picture. Click!
Nice PS work - and a very creative image - as always!

Watcha Niradesh,
thanks for the criticism on the Banded Demoiselle, I think you need a fuller explanation, I had already, partially, addressed the lack of sharpness in the description; however, if you want the full story, here goes: I was hanging out from a bridge over a 6 foot drop into about 5 foot of water, working one handed; conducive to a perfect pic? no, fun? yes, and that is the important thing.
Washed out colour: the original slide, and the scan on my monitor both show correct colour for the subject, if you have washed out colour in the subject then it's your monitor setting, there's nowt I can do about that.
Noise, well there will be, although it is probably dust, it's not worth using digital ice for here. If this were one of my pics that I hope to sell then I would make a high res scan and use digital ice and the noise filters, also it wouldn't appear here. It's not worth going to that trouble for a 72ppi image that will never sell.
Hope that helps![]()
best
Mick
