I took this while on holiday in Cyprus,it was shot fairly early after sunset to get the best light,i liked the reflection, but had hoped for an interesting sky, which as you can see i didnt manage.

You cannot legislate for the sky, but I really ink that a plain sky works well here as there are no distractions from the fort and the reflection. It's is a lovely postcard quality shot.

I think you chose the right time of day for your shot, Martin, the light catching the facade facing the shore but allowing enough detail to show up on the shadowed side. The reflection in the still waters is excellent.
As Lynne says, there's little one can do about the sky......you have to accept what you getWink
Ronnie.

I'd go along with all of that.

I would, however, crop some, quite a lot, in fact, from the left, where it's a bit untidy and some from the bottom to remove the black gravelly bit and that cable/pipe (?) that's poking out of the water.

Bren.
