These reflections kind of make me think of the big poles in the Millenium Dome. Well captured. Moira

Nice reflections back in the winter sun, Dougie. Some of the last shipbuilding cranes on the Clyde.

No doubt the Chinese will buy those cranes and off they jolly well go. A grand image my friend.

A fine little series, Dougie. There is beauty there, not just grit. I have enjoyed the delicate colours and the calm.

P.S.: No date in the bridge pillar, just 'JR & RS'.

Lovely view along the south riverbank Dougie. I'll need to go back and have a look at the rest of your series when I've a bit more time.

It has been interesting series Dougie, it reminded of Liverpool which was once a great building shipyard.

There's a calm on the water a hush in the crowd
There's peace in the valley there's a stillness about
There's a light in the darkness there's joy in his love...

Reminds me of that Sci-Fi film 'War of the Worlds', back in the '50's or '60's ???????
