...I was watching the reflections and setting up my next image when I heard the steady beat of an engine, it wasn't the sound of the helicopters you hear along this part of the river, I turned and saw this coming into view...

I googled the place from where these images had been taken - found it!
Lovely morning on the banks, lovely reflections, even an industrial place can offer some impressive sights,
Johanna

Serendipity - the boat is moving into a still water surface, the foreground wake is so smooth and creates wonderful reflections.
You're in industrial mode at present...

The shape of the four crane jibs plus their reflections suggests a spider in its web waiting for the lighter to sail into its maw. Man imitating Nature. Very striking.

How opportune that it should appear for you......the bow waves are so smooth and you have wonderful reflections in the still surface.
I have often seen this wee craft going up and down picking up larger bits of rubbish from the river.
Ronnie.

Feel I could be on a bigger boat just cruising a little behind that tugboat. A lovely shot Dougie............Sandy

While I like the reflections of the cranes, I love the reflections of the boat on it's waves. Cold looking scene too. Moira

Perfect timing on the position of the boat, and of the curved reflections it has created.
