I've never seen it first hand when flooded Val, only on film, much of the flooding I've seen only appeared in the Autumn/ Winter months. You caught the reflections really well. I often wonder what time of day you'd need to go to take this wonderful scene with no tourists around

About 4 or 5.0 in the morning maybe? It's certainly still crowded until well after midnight. It must be the most visited place ever!
Walking along the raised planks is quite a challenge - about 3ft wide and hundreds of people pushing in both directions. Thanks for your comment Leo.

I can imagine the hospital casualty dept deal with more cases when it floods then. It's hard for anyone never having visited Venice, to imagine the hordes of visitors they get, it must drive the residents mad I'm sure!
