Lovely scene Freda but perhaps the water is a tad dark. One of those situations where exposing for the water would overexpose the trees in the bg and vice verca. Have you tried aperture bracketing for shots like this? i.e. Camera takes 3 shots automatically at different exposures. Then you can merge them in something like photomatix to get an evenly exposed balanced shot. Just a thought.

Good critique Paul. Actually I was thinking when I was there that perhaps I should have bracketed them. However, I could work it from the raw file and perhaps when I join I'll put the two versions up for comparison.
