I like the angle. The diagonal of the steps leads you across the frame. Lots of interest here.

I'd prefer to see this in a good tonal black and white. This is more to take away the big patch of blue of the sky that in a frame of fairly muted and dark tones in the clothes of the subjects, pulls the eye up from the action..

Otherwise a great street shot and slice of social history.
