What a fantastic set, all so colourful and pin sharp!
Well done
Rick
My eyesight not being what it was, I thought from the thumbnail you's been out shooting bananas![]()

What a surprise to see this excellent selections of close-ups of the snakes, Trev: the detail captured is marvellous as I'm sure are the colours, all specimens showing up so vividly with that black b/g again.
My favourites are V 4 and 5 so they'll have to share top billing with 1/2 vote each.
Amazing subjects, marvellously captured.
Ronnie.
What an excellent set of images Trev, they all deserve a vote - well done !
Chris
A super set. Beautiful subjects composed gracefully on perch and close for great detail and power. V1 is the masterpiece with V3, V4, and V6 all in the magic zone. Wonderful ! TG
CarolG said [/Q] but snakes, they give me the creeps [/Q]
Many people feel this way and its too bad as this is only our culture and has no logical reason in real life.
Snakes can be as beautiful as any bird and they help ensure that we are not stepping on rats and mice. The beauty of snakes is evident here.
Snakes only move to avoid being stepped on. Snake table manners are similar to the blue heron or king fisher... think about it. TG
V1 is the winner for me Trevor with V5 close on its heels V6 does have a nastier look to least it was not striking. In fairness however Trevor all cracking good shots

not my favourite subject ... but only too glad to give you that click for RC
beautifully taken
Splendid set of images, love the colours. V1 has a terrific comp and pose
Superb set, love the pose in V2, but V6 has got to be my fave, all worthy of single uploads IMHO
What a fabulous set of images of these colourful and exotic snakes, each one of these could have been uploaded in its own right
