One of the most effective combinations of motion blur and precise sharpness that I've seen!
Moira
Thanks Moira, and Nathan. I have to clarify that the helicopter was static here - hovering around 10 metres above the ground. This was taken at 200mm (on 1.6x crop body) with a shutter speed of 1/80th of a second, ISO at 100 and aperture of f/20 (shot in Shutter Priority mode). The Image-Stabilizer helped keep sharpness up, whilst the "slow" shutter speed allowed me to get some motion blur in the blades, as was desired.
