Fallen over and being eaten by slugs, I rescued these daffodils and put them to good use!
Many thanks to all who voted and offered some good suggestions for improvements to the Dandelion Triptych.
Also special thanks to Trev (achieverswales's) and Netta (who inspired me to look closer at dandelions)
for their valued User Awards.

V2 added after comments - used smudge tool to soften texture in f/g but didn't take it to edge of vase.
Always something to improve! Well I hope I have! Tongue

A splendid still life Kate, beautiful and well presented, for me I just find the Vase a little too central and that's not being picky I just think your flowers are super, it;s just a suggestion Try the vase to one side with the flowers hanging to the other...John

Our daffodils too are attacked by slugs and the rain and wind take their toll, but on balance they do survive longer outside than cut and brought indoors.
This selection has afforded you a good shot and I do like the textured b/g applied, Kate.
Very nicely presented.
Ronnie.

I very much like your arrangement, and the texture you chose. I think the use of the smudge tool lessens the beauty of this otherwise fine piece. It appears too contrived. I think just the texture would have worked much better. A vote for the arrangement though.

Have to agree with above reservations about the reflection, but like the image otherwise.
Another solution - a slight crop at base ?
