Yesterday was the day to drive home from the most delightful week at Arisaig and I fought it all the way....I stopped practically every half hour taking photos as the weather was glorious.

I had seen these trees a few times when we were driving back and forth along the Road To The Isles.. and the light was perfect yesterday... had to rescue this as it was taken on ISO 800..... hope it is ok.

Note to self... check ISO before taking photos when pappage has been in force the night before! Grin

Glorious image Jeanie, even with high ISO. Worth the stop, photographed these many moons ago, wish it was as good as yours. Ron.

Cheers Mark, Keith, Ron and John.

Ron, the air was a little blue and there was a Jeanie stamping her feet when she discovered the ISO later in the day! Will just have to go and try again... if I must.. Wink

It was indeed a wrench John.. shattered today and Jura (the most papped pooch on an EPZ holiday) is still broken.. and I want to go back Sad

A beautiful shot. I like the detail in the f/g grasses under the water. Excellent stuff.

Great detail throughout the image, those trees really grab the eye but what holds my attention is the fg detail. Really good high ISO image.

Well done finding a spot to get at these trees I've tried several times and never managed, this now is a quest, anything you can do...

Beautiful colour Jeanie and a nice reflection with all the detaill down in the water.

All the very best

Thank you Dougie. It was a bit frisky finding somewhere to park as there is no layby there.. and it was lucky I had my wellies on as when I found a way down the embankment it was a bit squishy underfoot Smile. Have fun on the quest Smile

Best wishes

I know these trees, and I know the boggy walk to them, but the conditions were not like this for my shots of them in November. This is a real beauty Jeanie.
