Good morning all...........Hope you have had a good weekend! Bet there are lots of snowy images today!!
Firstly a great big thankyou to everyone who voted and comments on my image On The Rocks Very interesting result, V1 getting a clear fave. I am not giving the answer about which software is which todayWinkWinkTongueTongue.................. I am at it again with another couple of images, both done in both my old and my new software. I have tried to give the images the same treatment, both are full frame, no rotate or drastic changes, and both images showing what we have been up to this weekend............ Dog sittingGrinGrinGrin and walking in the snow..............
Now maybe I have bitten off more than I can chewWink but I have also been using Manual setting all weekend and I have read comments on Epz that snow images should be overexposed to get the snow white... I triedSmile, and someone wearing red in the image is a bonus.. Ok its only a red hoodTongueTongue But its redWink
Now the reason for the title? well as V1 was the clear winner last time I thought maybe you thought that I thought that I would upload the new software firstGrinGrin Now did I ............. or did I not............ and which way have I done it today? WinkWinkWink
If you have managed to get this far down in my write up, without nodding off............thankyou and comments very welcome.........and one last thing, the dog is our daughter's and his name is RustyGrinGrinGrin

A most attractive snowy winter scene, esp. when viewed from the warmth indoors: think I prefer V 2 to V 1, Diane.
And the brighter version of Rusty appeals that but more.
No snow here as yet but we are expecting some flurries later on today.
Ronnie.

Wonderful set of images, IMHO v2 is better than V1 only because v1 seems a lot more grainy but then that could just be my eyes lol, as for v3 and v4 i really can't see much difference, having said that v3 does look a little brighter Smile but again that could just be me lol

V2 for me too. I like the kind of easy, almost laid back feel to this shot. As Ronnie says, one to appreciate after dinner with the open fire burning bright.

Four images which leave me in somewhat of a dilemma, each warrant much attention, however I shall stick my head over the snowy parapet and opt for image s number 2 and 3. Each have been wonderfully crafted, composed and processed. Love the charm and character of Rusty.

Having perused these back and forwards for longer than I care to name, I have come to the decision that V6 is the winner.Tongue
Rusty does look like a before and after advert for hair highlights, or what can happen when you choose brand x instead of the super-duper, new and improved brand y.

Oh, and V2 is defo better than V1, but what the heck do I know?

That is SUCH a lovely shot of Rusty. Awww SmileSmileSmile I prefer the brighter of the two.

As for the first two, WOW at that gorgeous tree!!! Love the lilacs/mauves/peachiness in the sky too. That is one fantastic wintery image, Diane...and for me, the preference is clear ---> V2 over V1, hands down Smile
