Good shot of the castle, I like the path being used as a lead-in line and the subject suits the mono/sepia treatment.
I was actually there last week. Rhodes is a beautiful island, I hope you visited Lindos, what a stunning place to visit, a bit too hot for me though - over 100f!
Andrew.
Thanks Andrew, I appreciate the comment means alot![]()
Rhodes is beautiful, I didnt actually stay, I came over from Marmaris for the day but both the other half and me agreed we would defiantaly be going back on holiday there. Unfortunately didnt visit Lindos ![]()
Funnily enough on April 29 2009 I did exactly the same, a day trip from Marmaris. You certainly wouldn't have enough time to visit Lindos during your short stay (5 hours?), but the day trip gives you an idea of how beautiful and historic some parts of the island are.
Try and stay in Lindos if you can (or Rhodes Town). Lindos is stunning, very olde worlde and full of history. Accomodation quite cheap as well (and very expensive). It's a lot more upmarket than Faliraki (where I stayed) and I visited Lindos three times during my stay.
Do go back to Rhodes when you get chance. I'll happily give you some tips on places to go.
Andrew.
