One from the archive in that it was taken in April this year, under very different weather conditions to what the country suffered yesterday. Just hope all have survived the storm unscathed.

My thanks to all who visited Winter Light on the Weir........as a thumbnail it was less than impressive, and in downsizing the file size for the site, a lot of the vibrancy and contrast was lost.

a hundred different shades of pink in these gorgeous flower. The centre flower looks a bit like an orchid and would eve shine on its own.
Here we got the benefit to see all sides at once.

No lack of vibrancy about this image, Ronnie, and what superb natural llighting you have taken advantage of.

We have not experienced the storm you have had ( the west coast tokk abattering, but we are on the lee side of the mountains) we just got 50cm of snow in two days instead!
