Unless seeking a floral shot backlit, I try to avoid harsh direct sunlight and yesterday's late afternoon dull overcast suited capture of this Rhododendron.

My thanks to all who took the time to comment on Design Perfection.....your attention is much appreciated.

Ronnie.

Overcast is better Ronnie, used to pray for that when I was doing weddings, love the composition with excellent DOF and sharp as a pin on main subject.

Interesting that nature has a pink/orange colour clash! I like the shape of the frame, Ronnie, the main flower echoed by the de-focussed one rear right, and the flower sitting on the leaves looks good, with the leaves extending towards the secondary flower. The brown stalks on the left? they do catch the eye a bit.
