I couldn't think of another title!
When I first uploaded this in 2007 it was suggested that I removed or lightened the shadows on the riders.
I thought I'd give it a go and this was the result. This version was going to be submitted to a camera club competition but I left the club before I submitted it.
Taken in the Swiss Alps. I remember losing all contact with my feet for some time!
They appeared out of the gloom.
Thank you Graham - Digital_boi for the UA greatly appreciated.
Colour version for me, seems to have more depth.
I prefer V1, shows up that little foal sheltering between the two horses. Carole
I remember it and still think its a good image. Hope you joined another club.

I've not joined another club Mavis, the last one was so clique it put me off for life!
I love the glow of the colour and the starkness of the mono, so both faves for me today.
(Ooh, I've just noticed the foal as per Rolepics' comment above. What a shame it didn't show itself a bit more).
Absolute cracker Ken, must say your last camera club missed a great photographer.
The camera club's loss. This is a lovely grouping and I do like the colour version.
this is a winner Ken v1 is a real cracker love the colours and the depth this has so....
in my view the colour version works best, cheers martyn
I remember this well, and still love it!
A superb image, love it............Sandy
What a great image Ken - I really can't decide, but I think on balance I prefer the colour. It's a real winner; shame you didn't get it into that competition.
Both work well but, V 1 for me Ken..
Superb,the camera clubs loss
Colour for me today Ken. Superb.
Wonderful work Ken, it would have won the comp.
Captures the atmosphere perfectly Ken. Glorious snow !!!
Super image and love V1 best
A first class capture. Carol
It is so hard to choose which version here - I love the mono so much - and the light in the coloured version is so good too - impossible for me to choose I think - what a great capture.
V1 Ken well done , works well ..
Superb image, Ken. Both work well but its the colour version for me.
Take care, Pauline
Excellent capture! Both version are beautiful but, as you maybe know, I am a mono lover....
