Used to watch the ghosts pass along the ridge from my bedroom window. When their lantern lights reached the bite at Back Tor they didn't go down and back up again...they simply carried on the line of the ridge. As a youngster it scared me to death.

Lovely light Martin.....I was walking along there a week last Sunday as part of a circular route from Castleton. Didn't look as good as this though
