This was taken on the Monday morning following the storms that swept across the country. The waves are still high but smoothed out by a long exposure.

Hope you like it.

A very well observed, composed, exposed and captured image with great beautiful light, drama and clarity throughout.

Thank you all for your comments.

Ian, this is Grand Pier, Teignmouth, despite its name, not the grandest pier in the world but it still looks good in the right light, which I was lucky enough to get before the rain fell a few minutes later.

Lovely lead in lines and sharp detail to contrast the smooth long exposure elements

A very peaceful looking scene following the storm, David Smile I always like to have a stroll along the pier - grand or not! Wink
