Love the subject of the image and you have captured them very well, so worth a vote for that. However, I think that the detail of the building in the background distracts from the main subject and if this had been mine I would have blurred it by selecting a setting with a limited depth of field, or selected a viewpoint that made the sky the background.

Thanks for your vote and reply i took quite a few shots of this subject but saving some of the images for a competition. I will be going back to do again at a different time of day i think early morning would be better due to postition of the sun. This was taken around 4pm i spotted it as i was driving home i didnt know that they were there, But i think its a good subject to work on so will go back.

regards Paul

I like this a lot, the composition is good the colours are great and personally I like the contrast of the sharp square lines of the building behind the soft round lines of the subject, it works for me, I would have cloned out the lamppost though.

Thought I recognised it. Have never thought of photographing this place.

There's a lot of scope in this subject! The background is rather busy, but the way the colours in the windows echo those of the sculpture is special. Hope we see more.
